Hard Decisions

In business, we tend to put off the hard decisions and end up losing millions.

For those who don’t know me, I’m a huge coffee guy—addicted to the stuff.

I’m an avid fan of Nespresso and drink a few a day (plus my local coffee shop regimen).

If you don’t own a Nespresso, there is one headache with it. It has to be deep cleaned regularly. You must follow a detailed list of instructions: add a packet of cleaning liquid, click all these buttons, waste 20 minutes on it, etc.

I avoid it like the plague.

But you know what? Once you do this, the coffee tastes 10x better.

This is like a business; we often put off the hard decisions we must make. We avoid the hard conversation.

So, the lesson here? Get used to making hard decisions. Your business will run 100x better and be more fun to operate every day.
